One step forward today we took two steps back
The Holocaust Memorial Museum was attacked today. An elderly man came in to the building with a rifle and proceeded to attack innocent people. It is bad enough that people still bad mouth other religions but to attack a museum that was dedicated to show the heartache and pain that people’s hatred of others could lead. Such an awful day this really is.
I thought it was sad when on the news the that people were still insisting that the Holocaust was a myth. How can someone just blindly erase a part of history like that. Ok lets just say 9-11 did not happen. Lets see an uproar start if anyone dared to say that. How ignorant the world is!
Lets just forget the pain and suffering that others have gone through. Lets just erase a day that is too hard to remember or even worst let us go and attack a place where we all could remember this tragic event.
Today my friends we have taken two giant steps back. We all need to get along or there never will be happiness or peace in this world. There will always be heartache and pain for someone.
